Hi, it’s Niamh! This is my journey journal into Mindfulness.
I am completely new to mindfulness. I am looking forward to earning techniques and
theories . Both for my classroom, as well as for myself. I am ready to commit
to trying mindfulness.
Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention
on the present. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings
from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life
pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and
awakening to experience.
Let’s start this journey and see if this definition fits for
me.
